High Creek Lodge & Cabins
Location: Pagosa Springs, CO
Size: 4,029 SF
Just moments down the road from the world's deepest geothermal hot spring sits High Creek Lodge, a cozy mountain getaway that combines the modern comforts of home with the rustic charm of Colorado's outdoors. Due to the outdated interiors of the lodge, the primary focus was set on increasing revenue through modernized aesthetics + amenities, a wider variety of room types, the addition of multiple ADA accessible suites and a new on-site dining experience. What was once a vastly underutilized space has now been transformed into a thriving community lodge and dining room open all day to guests, complete with vaulted ceilings, original log walls and a wall to wall stone fireplace + hearth. Original log walls, wood tongue & groove panel ceilings and wood beams were preserved throughout to honor the original quality of the lodge, complimented by warm layers of lighting, luxurious yet durable textiles and modern conveniences to support the everyday traveler. In addition to adding five new rentable units to the lodge, an on-site kitchen and public restroom were also provided to support the on-site dining. Whether you're looking to soak in the healing waters of the hot springs or explore the many trails nearby, this lodge serves as a destination for anyone looking to get away.
