Galvanize Seattle
Location: Seattle, WA
Size: 71,000 SF
Galvanize Seattle sits in the historic and revitalized Pioneer Square and is home to tech startups, developers and enterprise partners looking to contribute to this tech driven ecosystem. Originally built in 1904, this five-story building offers members a variety of coworking space, multi-use classrooms and a variety of collaboration and support areas, all connected through a grand open stair with visible cascading levels. Atop the building is a private rooftop patio with a glass enclosed pavilion overlooking downtown and the Puget Sound. Through the use of flexible furniture, mobile partitions and integrated A/V infrastructure, multiple spaces on campus can easily transition to support larger event needs. Complementing the original exposed brick and wood beams, natural and refined industrial materials were used throughout, including ample full height glazing to maximize the dispersion of natural light.
