Dude Dad Studio

Location: Fort Collins, CO

Size: 2,901 SF

Known for their viral combination of comedy, DIY and vlog videos about family life, Dude Dad was looking to move out of the garage and into a studio befitting a thriving and growing business.  As the concept developed, two clear questions became the driving factors for design intent: does this offer flexibility in use and does it reflect the energetic culture of Dude Dad and Colorado, the home they've come to know and love?  The main floor enters to an open concept community pantry and lounge that easily converts from a daily amenity to host-ready event space.  At the rear of the space is the open work studio complete with an overhead garage door, plenty of wall space for green screens + merchandise marketing, slat wall workbenches and even a hidden podcase studio, all ready for filming, building and everything in between.  To maximize space, a mezzanine level provides five private offices surrounding an open collaborative area that overlooks the primary studio below.  Bright pops of color, funky bold graphics and intentional details drive home the vibrant and adventurous personality of this crew.
